Meet Dr. Susan Ann Harvey
Dr. Susan was born in Portsmouth, NH in 1994. She is the youngest of four children to Dr. Paul E. Harvey Jr. and Rebecca McBeath Esq. Throughout her childhood, she was active in the Portsmouth Community acting as her Student Council Class President throughout her four years at Portsmouth High School. After her graduation from PHS, she continued her education at Barnard College at Columbia University. Dr. Susan loved her time in New York surrounded by a diverse population of people and personal histories. She was active in her sorority Alpha Omicron Pi and worked on her Student Health Advisory Committee to advocate for better access to healthcare on her college campus. Dr. Susan graduated in 2016 with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior.
Dr. Susan continued her education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she began her journey into the dental profession. Tufts offered a dynamic curriculum that combined traditional thought with the newest technologies. While at Tufts, Dr. Susan served as her class liaison for the American Association of Women Dentists during her first and second year as well as the Academic Chair during her third year. During her fourth year, Dr. Susan was a part of the Periodontal Selective Program at Tufts. She was an active member of Delta Sigma Delta each year and was honored to receive the Northeast Delta Dental Scholarship during her third and fourth years. Before her graduation in 2020, Susan enjoyed her externship at the Goodwin Community Health Center in Somersworth, NH. She has a passion for treating populations that have been typically ostracized from receiving dental care and hopes that Harvey Family Dentistry can become a dental home for anyone who has not found one previously. When not at work, Susan enjoys spending time with her family and friends in the Seacoast area. She loves board games, walking outside, and eating spicy food.
